Native breed rankings – April 2024
Rules for use in marketing activity
When quoting breed rankings from the AHDB National Beef Evaluations, the following information must be included in any articles or posts, both online and in print:
- The date of the evaluation that has been used to calculate the ranking (e.g. December 2023)
- The relevant base population (e.g. Continental or Native)
- If the breed shares equal ranking with another breed, this should be clearly stated
In all cases we would expect all marketing activity to make use of the most recent rankings which are found on this page. Evaluation release dates can be found here.
